How It All Began
On the day Lara was born in Madrid, her Granny gave her a very special gift: a soft, flat, unstuffed bunny from Doudou et Compagnie. She named him Bunny — and from that moment, they were never apart.
This photograph is one of Lara’s most precious treasures — Granny holding her, with Bunny nestled between them. It was a memory that meant the world to Granny too. Though Granny has since passed away, Lara knows Bunny carries her love with him still, every single day.
Now 13 years old, Lara still clutches Bunny every night as she sleeps. He has travelled everywhere with her, grown with her, and become the keeper of all her most precious memories.
Adventures Near & Far
Bunny has seen so much of the world! When Lara’s family moved from Spain to the UK, he came right along. Settling into their new home in Worcestershire, he helped Lara make friends, sat through school reading sessions, and settled right in to sleep beside her just as he always had.

Bunita — Bunny’s Special Friend
For many of these adventures, Bunny wasn’t alone. Lara was given a second bunny, just as soft and white: Bunita. Lara held them both tight, and the two bunnies became best friends, sharing every journey, every hug, and every bedtime.

Still Together, Always
Years have passed. Lara has grown, learned, and changed. Bunny is a little softer, a little more loved — his fur worn smooth from thousands of hugs. But nothing has ever broken their bond.
He is still the first thing she reaches for at night. He is still there when she wakes. He is Granny’s gift, a link to her earliest days in Madrid, a travel companion, a comfort, and a friend — all in one floppy, white, perfect bunny.
Granny may not be here to see it all, but her love lives on — in Lara, and in Bunny, who carries it for her.
And their story is still being written… 💛
